Tapping into main beam wire ??

I am toying with the idea of rewiring my factory fitted fog lights on my 2023 Versys Grand Tourer. The reason is that my daily commute has @ 5 miles each way of very dark, single track roads complete with puddles, running water, pot holes, mud and leaves and in many places lined by trees. I had a similar set up on my now written off CB500X. On my Honda there was a 3 pin plug behind one of the fairings that had an 'Ignition Live' & a 'Negative' wire and also had a wire that was only live when the mean beam was turned on. This wire was not suitable to power extra lights, but it could be used as a trigger switch on a relay switch. This set up worked really well and they could also be turned off with a switch - but that never got used.
From looking at a wiring diagram (probably the wrong year as I cant find a 2023 diagram), it looks like the live feed to the main beam is a 'Red / Black' wire ??
Is this Red / Black wire the correct live feed for the main beam ?
Are there any connector plugs I can tap into to feed a relay trigger or a suitable location to tap into this wire ?

It shouldn't be hard to check which wire is energised only when high beam is selected with a multi meter or a test lamp. I don't have the bike so cannot be more specific.
